General Description

The FMS Ranger V2 1220mm is the latest member of the FMS versatile aircraft series. It retains all the qualities that have made the brand successful: excellent flight characteristics, great stability, simple assembly, and a design inspired by general aviation.

Built from ultralight EPO foam, its large high-wing fuselage provides significant lift and low wing loading, ensuring stable flights even at low speeds. Robust plastic struts reinforce the wings during aerobatic maneuvers, and the patented “crash-proof” shock‑absorbing nose gear greatly facilitates takeoffs and landings.

The Ranger V2 is equipped with a high‑performance power system allowing almost vertical climbs on demand. Thanks to the factory‑installed Reflex V3 flight controller, it offers several flight modes: stabilized, optimized, or fully manual, suitable for all pilot skill levels.

Available in several color schemes (red, yellow, or green), the Ranger V2 remains easily visible even in overcast weather. Its two‑piece fuselage and main wing design reduces packaging volume by about 30%, making transport and storage easier.

Power System and Electronics

The Ranger V2 is equipped with a 3136‑1200KV brushless motor paired with a 20A Predator ESC, providing enough power for near‑vertical climbs. Four 9 g servos are factory‑installed for aileron, elevator, and rudder control.

The Reflex V3 flight controller is factory‑installed. It offers several flight modes:

  • Stabilized Mode: the aircraft automatically levels itself, ideal for beginners.
  • Optimized Mode: lighter assistance for more dynamic flights.
  • Manual Mode: full control for experienced pilots.

A 5‑channel or higher radio is required to fully use the aircraft’s functions (RTF version: 6‑channel radio included).
