Features

The FrSky TWIN X14RS radio is the direct successor to the X14S and introduces significant upgrades in both technology and ergonomics. At its core is the internal TD‑ISRM RS dual‑band RF module, enabling simultaneous operation across multiple frequency bands. In addition to the TW mode with two active 2.4 GHz links, the transmitter also supports ACCESS (2.4G and R9) as well as the proven ACCST D16 protocol. This ensures maximum flexibility when choosing receivers and delivers exceptionally stable signal performance.


To improve outdoor readability, the X14RS features a 640×360 high‑brightness outdoor touchscreen. The tactile controls have also been refined: all rotary encoders and trim buttons now come with CNC‑machined metal caps. The gimbals are equipped with enhanced 360° spiked anti‑slip stick ends, providing a secure grip and highly precise control.


The transmitter retains its well‑established ergonomic design, now complemented by a premium surface finish. With the ETHOS operating system, an integrated 6‑axis gyro, and freely assignable buttons, the TWIN X14RS delivers cutting‑edge functionality in a compact and lightweight form factor

TD‑ISRM RS RF PERFORMANCE

Powered by a robust dual‑band 868M/2.4G RF link with multiple RF mode combinations, the X14RS features the integrated TD‑ISRM RS RF module, which supports several protocols (including TW, TD, and others).
The TD‑ISRM RS module includes a dual‑2.4G TW mode and can operate simultaneously in ACCESS 2.4G and R9 modes. In this configuration, an ACCESS 2.4G receiver and an R9 receiver can be connected through the SBUS IN/OUT ports to provide redundant backup. This significantly increases RF reliability, especially during long‑range RC operations.

ERGONOMIC, COMPACT & FLEXIBLE DESIGN | MC18 GIMBALS WITH SPIKED ANTI‑SLIP STICK ENDS

Following the design philosophy of the X18 series, the X14 lineup has been optimized for portability, reduced weight, and a cleaner overall form. The ergonomic layout ensures that momentary buttons, shoulder sliders, and top switches remain easy to reach.
The X14RS includes four customizable buttons positioned at the center of the front panel for quick, real‑time access. For example, glider pilots can assign these buttons as additional trim controls via ETHOS, enabling rapid in‑flight adjustments to flap or surface angles based on changing air conditions.
Unlike the X14/X14S, the X14RS features a 3‑inch 640×360 touchscreen display, offering smoother and more intuitive interaction.
The radio is equipped with CNC‑machined metal MC18 hall‑sensor gimbals with a default 60° travel. Using the included limiter tool, the Y‑axis can be reduced to 45°. Combined with the 360° spiked anti‑slip stick ends, the X14RS ensures precise, confident control even during intense racing maneuvers.

BUILT‑IN FLASH STORAGE & RECHARGING SYSTEM | ATTACHABLE STAND HOLDER DESIGN

To simplify storage management, the X14RS includes 512MB of internal flash memory—more than enough for typical file needs. The battery compartment supports a 2600mAh 2S Li‑ion pack, which is easily replaceable and rechargeable via the USB‑C port.
The rear shell features a new attachable and foldable mounting structure, allowing the installation of an optional stand holder accessory. This enables the radio to be carried conveniently or positioned on a surface for hands‑free operation.
