General description

The Black Horse Suchoi SU-30 is a scale turbine jet designed for demanding RC jet pilots. With a wingspan of 1,725 mm and a length of 2,576 mm, it offers an impressive presence both in the air and on the ground.

The model is engineered for a 120–140 N kerosene turbine. Its mixed wood, GRP and plywood construction provides a strong and durable airframe suitable for intensive use.

Thanks to practical solutions for transport, assembly and field operation, this SU-30 combines scale appearance, performance and ease of use.

Technical specifications

Power system and electronics

The model is designed to be powered by a 120–140 N kerosene turbine. The tail pipe is already included in the kit, simplifying turbine installation.

The electric retract system is supplied with a control unit, CNC-machined metal legs, integrated suspension and brakes for precise ground handling.

A total of 8 servos (not included) are required to operate all flight and landing gear functions: rudder, nose wheel steering, nose gear door, ailerons, elevator, retracts, brakes and turbine control.

A suitable power supply for the radio and servos is required. Pichler recommends a LiFe 6.6 V / 4,000 mAh (EGOBATT) pack for the onboard electronics.
