This is the Version 2 PNP (Plug-N-Play) model of the 80mm A-10 Thunderbolt II, featuring twin inrunner brushless motors, powerful 12-blade EDF units, and a pre-programmed gyro for improved stability. Celebrated for its battlefield dominance and close air support excellence, the A-10 Thunderbolt II—affectionately nicknamed the "Warthog"—has been a legendary presence in military aviation for decades. Freewing pays tribute to this iconic aircraft with the 80mm A-10 Thunderbolt II Version 2, the most advanced foam electric PNP A-10 released to date.

An evolution of the original model, this updated version with a 1700mm wingspan delivers enhanced realism, improved durability, and top-tier performance. Quick-release main wings allow for easy transport and assembly, while a reinforced, plastic-lined battery bay ensures long-term strength and better compatibility with larger battery packs. The glueless fuselage design and simplified wiring make setup faster and more user-friendly than ever.

Attention to detail continues with CNC-machined aluminum, shock-absorbing struts and a fully functional landing gear system, complete with operational gear doors on both the main and nose gear. These features ensure dependable takeoffs and landings, even on less-than-perfect surfaces. The upgraded LED lighting system includes formation lights, nose gear landing/taxi lights, and a switchable flashing LED armament effect, adding both visibility and scale realism.
