With the JAS 39 Gripen, Freewing has once again raised the bar for RC electric foam delta-winged jets. This model is precisely engineered for scale accuracy and practical RC performance, and assembles in just minutes, with pre-installed electronics and LED lighting. Powered by a popular 80mm 12-blade EDF and a 100A ESC, the Freewing Gripen is built for power! At 1/9 scale and 1613mm in length, the Freewing Gripen is longer than its predecessor, the Freewing Typhoon/Eurofighter. Inspired by the real Gripen’s short take-off capability, this model is optimized for short launches and rough landing strips.

Recommended for intermediate to advanced pilots, the Freewing Gripen offers the size, speed, and power of a 90mm super-scale jet in a lighter, faster, and more affordable 80mm EDF package. Fully functional canards enable impressive agility, while full-coverage gear doors improve overall aerodynamic efficiency.
