Required Skill Level – Recommended Experience

The Habu XS 80mm EDF is rated as skill level 3, meaning it is designed for experienced RC pilots with the knowledge required to assemble, configure, and fly similar high-performance aircraft.
The PNP (Plug-N-Play) version requires even more experience than the BNF Basic version, as it requires the installation and setup of a separate receiver, without pre-configured AS3X®+ and SAFE® Select technologies.

This model is not suitable for beginners nor recommended as a first EDF jet for intermediate pilots. It is essential to have already mastered flying with more accessible EDF jets like the E-flite® Habu SS 50mm or 70mm, or other comparable models, before moving on to the Habu XS 80mm. A solid foundation in EDF flying is necessary to fully exploit the potential of this aircraft and fly safely.
