The full-size Viper was designed to provide the look and performance of a fighter jet, along with the stability of a low-wing sports plane, so that more pilots can enjoy flying a jet.

The E-flite Viper 90mm EDF model follows this evolution, both in looks and in offering the largest possible flight envelope - whether you've flown a lot of jets or it's your first model large-scale jet. The ever popular Viper 70mm EDF has been scaled up to create the first 90mm EDF jet and E-flite's largest jet!

This 90mm version offers the same excellent speeds, the same vertical performances and the same aerobatic capabilities, while remaining easy to take off, fly and land, especially when equipped with the exclusive AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies.

This full-scale Viper model is equipped with exclusive Spektrum ™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to mitigate the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes you feel like you're flying an even bigger plane. The SAFE Select system provides limited pitch and bank angles, as well as auto leveling, which can be turned on or off with the flip of a switch, to make this Viper easier to fly! And if you don't want to activate the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver normally and only the AS3X will be active. 

SMART Technology

The exclusive Spektrum ™ Avian ™ Smart ESC provides a variety of real-time telemetry data related to the power system, including engine speed, current draw, overall flight battery voltage and more via the Compatible Smart receivers (including AR637TA installed) and equipped Spektrum AirWare ™ transmitters (including DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2 / 3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly. It even displays the voltage of each cell, flight pack temperature and other data when using Spektrum Smart LiPo batteries. Additionally, motor reversing (optional) can help shorten the roll after landing and provides other special ground handling capabilities (a 7+ channel transmitter is required for reversing).

Whether it's slower-than-expected landings, low-speed passages or overflights over 120 km/h, the airframe and propulsion system work together to deliver incredible aerobatic performance and capabilities. The EPO cell reinforced with composite materials is light but robust. And the eight factory-installed digital metal-gear servos with ball-and-socket joints, as well as the control surfaces with pin hinges, deliver crisp and precise control at every speed.

Easy assembly

No glue is needed for assembly and you can have the Viper ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery! The two-piece stabilizers and wing with hands-free connections bolt into place and can easily be removed for convenient storage and transport. In addition, it is factory finished in an exclusive and unique high visibility finish scheme by Aircraft Studio Design.
