This combo Ejets Jetfan-105mm Pro EDF equiped with the Typhoon HET 700-98-840KV motor generates a thrust of approx 7.5kg / 117A with 12S.

The controller should be chosen 20% over rated due to the long lasting load.
LV = low voltage controller up to 6s, HV = high voltage controller above 6s.
Battery should be chosen about 15/ - 1/20 of the max current for 4-3 minutes WOT. 30-40 C is appropriate.

Note: this combo is provided assembled and balanced. You can also buy both the EDF unit and the motor separetly with us without the assembling and balancing service.

Important: this combo required a very efficient and large sink. Motor is hot even with heat sink

About the Ejets JETFAN 105 Pro EDF Unit

The new ducted fan unit JETFAN-105 PRO was designed especially for the new 105mm EDF-class.  Ejets reached its goal to gain much more thrust and E-Flux for a more dynamic climbing and high speed passes together with a much better whooshing sound. THIS JETFAN-105 is NOT CRYING. 

The new stator design the highest possible throughput surface / FSA is now reached and the entire engine surface  is cooled . For input powers more than 3,000 watts, the original heat sink should be mounted in the HET - motors .

Also the usage of your existing 39.1mm up to 40mm outer diameter motors is possible. So you have the advantage to choose from a wider range of available motors. So now the change to a better, powerfull flying of your existing 105mm jets will come true!

The weight of the JETFAN-105 PRO is 178gr, the lightest one in this category.

Note: This motor will not work with WeMoTec Midi Fan or the HET 9305 fan unit (work with HET 9305-700 fan unit).

Note: Use adhesive adhésive or glue to securely attach the cooling ring to the motor before running the motor. In case of use with an EDF fan unit, strong air current could blow away the colling ring. Thermal paste usage is also recommended.

WARNING: Operating the motor outside of the specifications listed above can either damage the motor, battery or esc. It is important that these components are set up properly. Failure to do so can void the warranty. It is strongly encouraged to use a Watt Meter to test the watt and amp performance when setting up a new system. If the output is above the factory recommended specs, then it needs to be adjusted by the esc. The timing and throttle settings on the esc can help to set the appropriate levels.

Warning: Screws that are too long can short out the windings resulting in a cooked motor, this is not covered by warranty
